How It Works
'I adopt a friendly, light-hearted approach which puts you at ease and, in turn, results in great photographs!'
Before your wedding day
We have an introductory meeting.
This usually takes place at your home or somewhere you can feel comfortable.
I will come to you and you can pick a time that suits you best.
We look around the wedding venue together.
I like to have a scout around venue with you. This can be done at a mutually convenient time, usually at your rehearsal a few days before the wedding.
We can then make any last minute adjustments to your requirements.
Planning the wedding Day
I have made a blog post on how to make the most of me!
5 Tips to make the most out of your wedding photographer
The Wedding Day
I start to document the day from when the Bride and Groom are getting ready, usually about an hour and a half before the bride leaves for the service.
Throughout the day, documentary-style photographs will be taken that capture the key moments in the service, speeches, wedding breakfast, reception and dancing... not forgetting the smaller personalised details often overlooked by many wedding photographers.
The more traditional formal photographs of family and friends can also be arranged.
My style is very much 'reportage'. I work quickly and efficiently, making sure I have an extensive and varied selection of images for your wedding album.
I take a mixture of black and white and colour images, although I aim to tailor my approach according to your needs.
After The Wedding
While you are on your honeymoon, I edit the photographs and choose a few of my favourites from the day to create a blog and a "sneak peek" slideshow on my website with your first dance song as a backing track (view example)
Once you are back from your honeymoon, I send the edited images on a personalised USB stick for you to print and send to your family and friends.
Remember, after the wedding is over, the photographs are the most important memories you will have!
